MINISTRY VISION & GOALS
MINISTRY VISION
As God directs, the desire of the leadership of LKCC is to expand the ministry outreach!!
EVANGELISM & LEADERSHIP TRAINING
In Feb., 2010, the women's leaders of numbers of churches in Goma came to LKCC and requested EVANGELISM TRAININGto equip themselves for a large Wamama (Women's) Evangelistic Campaign they were planning. Jerome conducted an 8 week class 3 mornings a week to prepare these women. Over 80 women completed this course!!
There is a great need forLEADERSHIP TRAINING in and around Goma. Whether if be Pastors, Women's Leaders, Youth....there is a growing desire on the part of many to attend seminars and retreats to receive leadership training.
In June and July, 2008, Paster Mathe conducted 4 week Pastor's Training Seminars at LKCC with over 100 Pastors and wives attending.
MEDICAL CLINIC
Currently, the Clinic treats out-patients, in-patients, and maternity patients in the same small rooms. A separate "Maternity ward" is badly needed to provide better care and equipment for the hundreds of women who come to the Clinic to deliver their babies. A goal is to seek funding to build a new addition to the present building.
SECONDARY SCHOOL
Students are currently meeting in former dormitory rooms that had housed students attending the School of Evangelism and Discipleship. They are small, dark and not suited for classrooms. A goal is to build a building suitable for classrooms.
